حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ فِي مَسِيرٍ " فَعَرَّسُوا فَنَامُوا عَنْ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ، فَلَمْ يَسْتَيْقِظُوا حَتَّى طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ، فَلَمَّا ارْتَفَعَتْ وَانْبَسَطَتْ أَمَرَ إِنْسَانًا فَأَذَّنَ فَصَلَّوْا الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ، فَلَمَّا حَانَتِ الصَّلَاةُ صَلَّوْا " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) was on a journey. At night, they camped at a place, and at the time of Fajr prayer, everyone remained asleep and only woke up when the sun had already risen. When the sun had risen high, the Prophet (ﷺ) ordered a man, and he gave the call to prayer (adhan), and the people offered the two Sunnah units, then they performed the obligatory prayer.
