حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ " إِذَا خَافَ قَوْمًا قَالَ: " اللهُمَّ إِنَّا نَجْعَلُكَ فِي نُحُورِهِمْ وَنَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ، ، شُرُورِهِمْ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) felt fear from any person or nation, he would supplicate: O Allah! I put You before their chests and I seek refuge in You from their evil.
