حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا بُرَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ (١) ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ: جَاءَ سَائِلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " اشْفَعُوا فَلْتُؤْجَرُوا وَلْيَقْضِ اللهُ عَلَى لِسَانِ نَبِيِّهِ مَا شَاءَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were sitting with the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) when a man asked for something. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Intercede for him, you will be rewarded, and Allah will decree what He wills upon the tongue of His Prophet.
