حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَابِقٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَبِيعٌ يَعْنِي أَبَا سَعِيدٍ النَّصْرِيَّ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ قَالَ أَبُو بُرْدَةَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِنَّ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةَ مَرْحُومَةٌ جَعَلَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَذَابَهَا بَيْنَهَا، فَإِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ دُفِعَ إِلَى كُلِّ امْرِئٍ مِنْهُمْ رَجُلٌ (٢) مِنْ أَهْلِ الْأَدْيَانِ، فَيُقَالَ (٣) : هَذَا يَكُونُ فِدَاءَكَ مِنَ النَّارِ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) say: "This Ummah is an Ummah upon whom mercy has been shown. Allah has placed its punishment among them (in this world). When the Day of Resurrection comes, each one of them will be given a man from the followers of other religions and it will be said: This person is your ransom from Hell."
