حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَا: أَخْبَرَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ: سَمَّى لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَفْسَهُ أَسْمَاءً مِنْهَا مَا حَفِظْنَا قَالَ: " أَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، وَأَحْمَدُ والْمُقَفِّي، والْحَاشِرُ، ونَبِيُّ التَّوْبَةِ، والْمَلْحَمَةِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) told us some of his names which we did not know or remember before. He said: I am Muhammad, Ahmad, Muqaffi, Hashir, and Nabi al-Tawbah and Nabi al-Malhamah (ﷺ).
