Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ زَهْدَمٍ الْجَرْمِيِّ. قَالَ أَيُّوبُ: وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ الْقَاسِمُ الْكَلْبِيُّ، عَنْ زَهْدَمٍ قَالَ: فَأَنَا لِحَدِيثِ الْقَاسِمِ أَحْفَظُ قَالَ: " كُنَّا عِنْدَ أَبِي مُوسَى فَدَعَا بِمَائِدَتِهِ، فَجِيءَ بِهَا وَعَلَيْهَا لَحْمُ دَجَاجٍ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
Sulaiman ibn Harb narrated to us, Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Abu Qilabah, from Zahdam al-Jarmi, Ayyub said: And al-Qasim al-Kalbi narrated it to me, from Zahdam, he said: I remember the narration of al-Qasim better, he said: We were with Abu Musa, and he called for his table, and it was brought with chicken meat on it... then he mentioned the hadith.
