Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ يَحْيَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ مُعَاذًا، وَأَبَا مُوسَى إِلَى الْيَمَنِ " فَأَمَرَهُمَا أَنْ يُعَلِّمَا النَّاسَ الْقُرْآنَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) sent Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) towards Yemen and instructed them to teach the people the Qur'an.
