حَدِيثُ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ (١)، ١٩٤٨٥ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا يَمُوتُ مُسْلِمٌ، إِلَّا أَدْخَلَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مَكَانَهُ النَّارَ يَهُودِيًّا أَوْ نَصْرَانِيًّا " (٢)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whenever a Muslim dies, Allah Almighty admits a Jew or a Christian into Hell in his place. Abu Burdah narrated the previous hadith to Umar bin Abdul Aziz (may Allah have mercy on him), so he asked Abu Burdah to swear by the name of Allah, besides whom there is no deity, that his father narrated this hadith and he heard it from the Holy Prophet (ﷺ), and Saeed bin Abi Burdah does not contradict what 'Awf says.
