Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، حَدَّثَنِي عُرْوَةُ الْبَارِقِيُّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ: الْأَجْرُ وَالْمَغْنَمُ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Urwah al-Bariqi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Goodness, blessing, reward, and spoils of war have been tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection."
