حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، أَخْبَرَنِي حُصَيْنٌ، وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي السَّفَرِ، أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا الشَّعْبِيَّ، سَمِعَ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الْجَعْدِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ بِنَوَاصِيهَا (٤) الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ: الْأَجْرُ وَالْمَغْنَمُ " (٥)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Urwah al-Bariqi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Goodness, blessing, reward, and spoils of war have been tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection."
