Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ، سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَتَى الْغَائِطَ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ، فَدَعَا بِالطَّعَامِ، - وَقَالَ مَرَّةً: فَأُتِيَ بِالطَّعَامِ - فَقِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَلا تَوَضَّأُ؟ قَالَ: " لَمْ أُصَلِّ فَأَتَوَضَّأَ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from "Amr, from Ibn Ma"bad, that Ibn "Abbas said:
I only knew that the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had ended from the takbeer.
