Original Arabic

وقَالَ سُفْيَانُ: عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " إِذَا أَكَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ، فَلا يَمْسَحْ يَدَهُ حَتَّى يَلْعَقَهَا - أَوْ يُلْعِقَهَا " (٣)، ،

Translation

English translation

It was narrated that Ibn "Abbas said:

Al-Muhassab is not of any significance; it is just a place where the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) halted.
