Original Arabic
وَقَدْ حَدَّثَنَاهُ سُفْيَانُ، وَقَالَ عَمْرٌو: عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، وَطَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْتَجَمَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
"When one of you eats, let him not wipe his hand until he has licked it or it is licked for him.”
