حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ: وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنَ الْحَكَمِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى قَالَ: " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُحِبُّ أَنْ، ، يَنْهَضَ إِلَى عَدُوِّهِ عِنْدَ زَوَالِ الشَّمْسِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) would wait for the sun to decline and then attack the enemy.
