حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى قَالَ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْجَرِّ الْأَخْضَرِ "، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: الْأَبْيَضُ؟ قَالَ: " لَا أَدْرِي " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
Shaibani (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I heard Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) saying that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) forbade nabidh (fermented drink) in green pitchers. I asked him, "What is the ruling regarding white pitchers?" He replied, "I do not know."
