Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ الْبَرَاءِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا رَجَعَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ قَالَ: " آيِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ عَابِدُونَ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that whenever the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) returned from a journey, he would recite this supplication: "We are returning in repentance, and we are worshippers of our Lord and praisers of Him."
