Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَنَامَ وَضَعَ خَدَّهُ عَلَى يَدِهِ الْيُمْنَى، وَقَالَ: " رَبِّ قِنِي عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ عِبَادَكَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Bara’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) intended to sleep, he would make his right hand a pillow and recite this supplication: O Allah! On the day You gather Your servants, protect me from Your punishment.
