حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكُ (٣) بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ،، ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ: " اسْتَصْغَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَا وَابْنَ عُمَرَ، فَرُدِدْنَا يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Bara bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the occasion of the Battle of Badr, the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) considered me and Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) as children, so we were sent back.
