Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، (٣) حَدَّثَنَا قَنَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ النَّهْمِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْسَجَةَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَفْشُوا، ، السَّلَامَ تَسْلَمُوا، وَالْأَشَرَةُ شَرُّ (١) " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Bara' (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Spread the greeting of peace, you will remain in safety, and arrogance is the worst thing.
