Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِ كَمَثَلِ، ، الْجَسَدِ، إِذَا اشْتَكَى الرَّجُلُ رَأْسَهُ تَدَاعَى لَهُ (١) سَائِرُ جَسَدِهِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Nu'man (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: The example of a believer is like that of a body; if the head is in pain, the whole body feels the pain.
