Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were with the Noble Prophet (ﷺ). The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) relieved himself, then I brought a vessel of water. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) began to roll up his sleeves with his arms, but the sleeves of the Syrian cloak which the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) was wearing were tight, so they could not be rolled up. Therefore, the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) took both hands out from underneath, performed ablution, and wiped over the leather socks.
