Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَطَاءً فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْنَا (١) أَنَّهُ يُقَالُ خُذْ مَالَكَ حَيْثُ وَجَدْتَهُ (٢) ، وَلَقَدْ أَخْبَرَنِي (٣) عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، أَنَّ أُسَيْدَ بْنَ ظُهَيرٍ (٤)، ، الْأَنْصَارِيَّ، ثُمَّ أَحَدَ بَنِي حَارِثَةَ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ كَانَ عَامِلًا عَلَى الْيَمَامَةِ، فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ (١)،
Translation
English translation
Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, he said: I asked Ata, and he mentioned the like of it. He said: We heard that it is said: "Take your wealth wherever you find it." And Ikrimah ibn Khalid informed me that Usayd ibn Zuhayr al-Ansari, then one of the Banu Haritha, informed him that he was an official over al-Yamamah, and he mentioned its meaning.
