حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، وَيَزِيدُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الضَّبِّيِّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ - ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ: أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ (٢) يَقُولُ: " مَعَ الْغُلَامِ عَقِيقَتُهُ فَأَهْرِيقُوا عَنْهُ دَمًا، وَأَمِيطُوا عَنْهُ الْأَذَى " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: Perform 'aqiqah on the birth of a boy; remove impurities and sacrifice an animal on his behalf.
