حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زِيَادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، حَدَّثَنِي كَعْبُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ شِمَاسَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " كَفَّارَةُ النَّذْرِ كَفَّارَةُ الْيَمِينِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: The expiation for a vow is the same as the expiation for an oath.
