حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الرَّازِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ مَرْثَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْيَزَنِيِّ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " اقْرَأِ الْآيَتَيْنِ مِنْ آخِرِ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ، فَإِنِّي أُعْطِيتُهُمَا (١) مِنْ تَحْتِ الْعَرْشِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said to me: Recite the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah, for these two verses have been given to me from beneath the Throne.
