حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، قَالَ: أَشَارَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدِهِ نَحْوَ الْيَمَنِ، فَقَالَ: " الْإِيمَانُ هَاهُنَا " قَالَ: " أَلَا وَإِنَّ الْقَسْوَةَ وَغِلَظَ الْقُلُوبِ فِي الْفَدَّادِينَ أَصْحَابِ الْإِبِلِ حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ فِي رَبِيعَةَ وَمُضَرَ " قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: " عِنْدَ أُصُولِ أَذْنَابِ الْإِبِلِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) once pointed with his blessed hand towards Yemen and said: "Iman (faith) is here. Beware! Harshness and severity of hearts are found among those arrogant ones who are the owners of camels, from where the horn of Satan appears." That is, among the tribes named Rabi'ah and Mudar.
