Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Salamah bin Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever deliberately attributes a false statement to me, he should make his abode in the Hellfire.
