Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Salamah bin Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we set out for jihad against Banu Hawazin with Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him). Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) gave me a slave girl as a reward. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to me, “Salamah! Give that woman to me as a gift.” The Prophet (ﷺ) sent that girl to the people of Makkah, in whose custody there were many Muslim prisoners. The Prophet (ﷺ) offered that girl in exchange for ransom and thus freed those prisoners.
