حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، وَعَفَّانُ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ أَوْسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو رَزِينٍ، قَالَ عَفَّانُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ: عَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ أَبِي شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ لَا يُطِيقُ الْحَجَّ، وَلَا الْعُمْرَةَ، وَلَا الظَّعْنَ، قَالَ: " حُجَّ عَنْ أَبِيكَ وَاعْتَمِرْ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Razin Uqayli that he once presented himself before the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: "My father has become extremely weak and old; he does not have the strength for Hajj and Umrah, nor does he have any desire for women." The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Then you perform Hajj and Umrah on his behalf."
