حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَبَهْزٌ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ، ، يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ وَكِيعِ بْنِ عُدُسٍ (١) ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي رَزِينٍ - قَالَ بَهْزٌ: الْعُقَيْلِيِّ - قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، قَالَ بَهْزٌ: أَكُلُّنَا يَرَى رَبَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ؟ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ: كَيْفَ نَرَى رَبَّنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ؟ وَمَا آيَةُ ذَلِكَ فِي خَلْقِهِ؟ فَقَالَ: " أَلَيْسَ كُلُّكُمْ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى الْقَمَرِ مُخْلِيًا بِهِ " قَالَ: قُلْتُ: بَلَى، قَالَ: " فَإِنَّهُ أَعْظَمُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Razin that once I submitted in the court of Prophethood: O Messenger of Allah! On the Day of Resurrection, will each of us be able to see Allah, and what is His sign among His creation? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: O Abu Razin, does not each of you see the moon freely? I said: O Messenger of Allah! Why not. He said: Then Allah is even greater than this.
