Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Wathilah that I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: The greatest slanders are three: First, that a man slanders with his eyes and says, "I saw such and such," while he did not see it. Second, that a man slanders his parents and attributes himself to someone other than his father. And third, that a person says he heard something from me, while he did not hear it from me.
