Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Yasir bin Amr that once I was present in the service of Sahl bin Hunaif and I requested him: Tell me a hadith that you heard from the Prophet (peace be upon him) regarding the Haruriyyah sect. He said: I will only relate to you what I have heard, I do not say anything more than that. I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) mention a people who will emerge from here, and he pointed towards Iraq. Those people will recite the Qur'an, but it will not go beyond their throats. They will go out of the religion just as an arrow passes through the prey. The narrator says: I asked him, did the Prophet (peace be upon him) mention any sign of them? He replied: What I heard is what I have told you, I cannot say anything more than that.
