حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الْعَوَّامُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ، عَنْ يُسَيْرِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يَتِيهُ (١) قَوْمٌ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ، مُحَلَّقَةٌ رُءُوسُهُمْ "، وَسُئِلَ عَنْ الْمَدِينَةِ؟ فَقَالَ: " حَرَامٌ آمِنًا، حَرَامٌ آمِنًا " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Sahl bin Hunaif that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: A people will come from the east who will wander astray and their heads will be shaved. Someone asked about Madinah Munawwarah, so he said: It is a sanctuary and a place of safety and security.
