Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) took my hand and as we walked together, we reached a certain room. The Prophet (ﷺ) asked, "Do you have anything to eat?" They brought some bread and placed it on the dining cloth. The Prophet (ﷺ) asked, "Do you have any condiment?" They replied, "We have a little vinegar." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Bring that, for vinegar is the best condiment." Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) says, "Since I heard this hadith from the Prophet (ﷺ), I have liked vinegar."
