حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، قَالَا: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ، عَنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ أَخْبَرَهُ: " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَضَى أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ أُعْمِرَ عُمْرَى لَهُ، وَلِعَقِبِهِ فَقَالَ: قَدْ أَعْطَيْتُكَهَا، وَعَقِبَكَ مَا بَقِيَ مِنْكُمْ أَحَدٌ، فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ - قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ -: لِمَنْ أَعْطَاهَا، ، وَقَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ: لِمَنْ أُعْطِيَهَا - وَإِنَّهَا لَا تَرْجِعُ إِلَى صَاحِبِهَا مِنْ أَجْلِ، أَنَّهُ أَعْطَاهَا عَطَاءً وَقَعَتْ فِيهِ الْمَوَارِيثُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) decreed that if something is given to someone for a lifetime, it will belong to him and his descendants, and the one who gave it has no right to take it back because of his statement.
