حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا أَكَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَسَقَطَتْ لُقْمَتُهُ، فَلْيُمِطْ مَا أَرَابَهُ مِنْهَا، ثُمَّ لِيَطْعَمْهَا، وَلَا يَدَعْهَا لِلشَّيْطَانِ، وَلَا يَمْسَحْ أَحَدُكُمْ يَدَهُ بِالْمِنْدِيلِ حَتَّى يَلْعَقَ يَدَهُ، فَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَا يَدْرِي فِي أَيِّ طَعَامِهِ يُبَارَكُ لَهُ، فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَرْصُدُ ابْنَ آدَمَ عِنْدَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَتَّى عِنْدَ طَعَامِهِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: When a morsel of food falls from any of you, he should remove any harmful thing from it and eat it, and not leave it for Satan. And he should not wipe his hand with a towel until he has licked his fingers, for he does not know in which part of his food the blessing lies.
