حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا الْمُوجِبَتَانِ؟ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever plants a tree or sows a crop, and then a human, bird, beast, or animal eats from it, it will be counted as charity for him. The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain.
