حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " بَيْنَ الرَّجُلِ، وَبَيْنَ الشِّرْكِ - أَوِ الْكُفْرِ - تَرْكُ الصَّلَاةِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: "The barrier between a person and disbelief and polytheism is abandoning the prayer."
