حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، وَمَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ لِي جَارِيَةً، وَأَنَا أَعْزِلُ عَنْهَا، فَقَالَ لَهُ: " مَا يُقَدَّرْ يَكُنْ "، فَلَمْ يَلْبَثْ أَنْ حَمَلَتْ، فَجَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ، أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّهَا، ، حَمَلَتْ؟ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا قَضَى اللهُ لِنَفْسٍ أَنْ تَخْرُجَ، إِلَّا هِيَ كَائِنَةٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: "I have a slave girl who serves us and also brings water. At night, I go to her, but I do not like her to become a mother." The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "If you wish, practice withdrawal with her, otherwise what is destined will surely happen." After some time, that same man came again and said: "That slave girl has become pregnant." The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "I had already told you that what is destined will surely happen."
