حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا: هَلْ رَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ رَجَمَ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَسْلَمَ، وَرَجُلًا مِنَ الْيَهُودِ، وَامْرَأَةً، وَقَالَ لِلْيَهُودِيِّ: " نَحْنُ نَحْكُمُ عَلَيْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
Abu al-Zubair says that I asked Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) whether the Prophet (ﷺ) carried out stoning (rajm)? He replied: Yes, the Prophet (ﷺ) stoned a man from the tribe of Aslam, a Jewish man, and a woman. And he said to the Jew: Today we will judge you.
