حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا، عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُطَلِّقُ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ فَقَالَ: طَلَّقَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ، فَأَتَى عُمَرُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرَهُ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لِيُرَاجِعْهَا فَإِنَّهَا امْرَأَتُهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Abu Zubair says that I asked Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) about the ruling regarding a person who divorces his wife during her menstrual period. He replied that Abdullah bin Umar had also once divorced his wife during her menstrual period. Umar mentioned this to the Prophet (ﷺ), so the Prophet (ﷺ) said that he should take her back because she is his wife.
