Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، وَمُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: " أَكَلْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لُحُومَ الْأَضَاحِيِّ، وَتَزَوَّدْنَا حَتَّى بَلَغْنَا بِهَا الْمَدِينَةَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that we ate the meat of the sacrificial animal of Hajj with the Prophet (ﷺ) during his blessed era, and we also brought it along as provisions for the journey.
