Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Jews greeted the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "As-Saam Alaik, O Abu al-Qasim." The Prophet (ﷺ) replied only with, "Wa Alaikum." Sayyidah Aisha, from behind the curtain, angrily said, "Did you not hear what they are saying?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Why not, I heard it and I also replied to them. Our supplication against them will be accepted, but their supplication against us will not be accepted."
