حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ، (١) يَقُولُ: " رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ يُصَلِّي النَّوَافِلَ فِي كُلِّ وَجْهٍ، وَلَكِنَّهُ يَخْفِضُ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ مِنَ الرَّكْعَةِ، وَيُومِئُ إِيمَاءً " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) offering voluntary prayers on his mount in every direction, except that he would bow lower in prostration than in bowing, and he would gesture.
