حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: زَعَمَ لِي عَطَاءٌ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ أَكَلَ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةَ - قَالَ: يُرِيدُ الثُّومَ - فَلَا يَغْشَنَا فِي مَسْجِدِنَا " (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever eats from this foul-smelling tree (garlic), let him not come near our mosques.
