Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُنْبَذُ لَهُ فِي سِقَاءٍ، فَإِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ سِقَاءٌ نُبِذَ لَهُ فِي تَوْرٍ مِنْ بِرَامٍ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that Nabidh used to be prepared for the Prophet (ﷺ) in a waterskin, and if a waterskin was not available, it would be prepared in a stone pot.
