حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اغْتَسَلَ مِنْ جَنَابَةٍ يَصُبُّ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ ثَلَاثَ حَفَنَاتٍ " فَقَالَ لَهُ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ: إِنَّ شَعْرِي، ، كَثِيرٌ قَالَ: " يَا ابْنَ أَخِي، كَانَ شَعَرُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَكْثَرَ مِنْ شَعْرِكَ، وَأَطْيَبَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding ghusl that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to pour water over his head three times. He (Jabir) said, "My hair is very long." Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) replied, "The Prophet (ﷺ) had more hair than you in terms of quantity, and in terms of fragrance, his hair was the longest of all."
