حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: " صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الظُّهْرَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ أَرْبَعًا، وَصَلَّى الْعَصْرَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ بَاتَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ حَتَّى أَصْبَحَ، فَلَمَّا رَكِبَ رَاحِلَتَهُ، وَاسْتَوَتْ بِهِ أَهَلَّ " (٣)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) performed the Zuhr prayer in Madinah Munawwarah with four rak‘ahs, and performed the ‘Asr prayer at Dhul-Hulaifah with two rak‘ahs. He stayed there for the night, and after performing the Fajr prayer, he mounted his ride. At that time, the Prophet (ﷺ) entered into the state of Ihram.
