حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " أَمْسِكُوا عَلَيْكُمْ أَمْوَالَكُمْ، وَلَا تُعْمِرُوهَا فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ (٣) أَعْمَرَ شَيْئًا حَيَاتَهُ، فَهُوَ لَهُ حَيَاتَهُ، وَبَعْدَ مَوْتِهِ " (٤)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Keep your wealth with yourself, do not give it to anyone, and whoever gives something to someone for a lifetime, then it becomes his, both during his life and after his death.
