Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ أَبِي الْأَخْضَرِ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ: " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَضَى بِالشُّفْعَةِ مَا لَمْ تُقْسَمْ، أَوْ يُوقَفْ حُدُودُهَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) established the right of pre-emption in every property until it is divided or boundaries are set.
